Installation - need help

During installation I get warning ASP.NET is not registered with your Web
Server.
I am running Windows XP Pro and ASP.NET is running on the web server. I
checked few times to make sure that root is running 1.1 version of ASP.NET
( have other versions on my machine also 1.0 and 2.0)
So after I ignored the warning (since I can't do about it anything anyway )
I installed the Reporting Services
From VS.NET I am trying to create new project for Reporting services and I
get "There is an error in XML document (0,0)"
So what's now'
I would appreciate the help. I need it get it running ASAP

Shimon.Reporting Services is not compatible with the 2.0 version of the .NET
framework. I would delete the later version.

>|||I uninstalled .NET 2.0 and installation went through but I still get this
message from VS.NET 2003 when I am trying to create new project "There is an
error in XML document (0,0)"

solves the problems.
